Emily Wilson

Emily Wilson is Communications Director at Solana Policy Institute (SPI). With extensive experience in strategic communications across financial services and digital assets, Emily has a proven track record of translating complex financial and technological concepts into compelling narratives that resonate with diverse stakeholders including policymakers and the media.

Previously, Emily served as AVP of Media Relations at Nuveen, where she supported comprehensive external communications programs for the $1.3 trillion firm. Before that, she was part of the communications team at Grayscale, where she played a key role in communications efforts around the historic GBTC uplisting to NYSE Arca and litigation against the SEC. Emily transitioned to the digital assets space after establishing her strategic communications foundation at Joele Frank.

Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Virginia Tech and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Marie C. & Joseph C. Wilson Foundation, focused on community impact in Rochester, NY.
