Event Attendee Code of Conduct

Solana Policy Institute (SPI) is committed to providing a safe, professional, productive, and welcoming environment for all event speakers, participants, and staff. This includes attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners, venue personnel, vendors, and SPI staff. All participants are expected to abide by this Code of Conduct during any SPI-hosted events.

SPI has zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, unsafe behavior, or disruption of the event. Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated at any time during the event.

Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning speech or actions
  • Harmful or prejudicial verbal or written comments
  • Unwelcome sexual attention or inappropriate physical contact
  • Real or implied threats of professional, financial, or personal harm
  • Disruption of panels, discussions, or event programming
  • Excessive intoxication or other disorderly conduct
  • Smoking anywhere inside the venue
  • Use of fire, fireworks, or pyrotechnics
  • Unauthorized sale or distribution of alcohol
  • Damage to venue property
  • Failure to follow instructions from event staff, SPI personnel, or venue security
  • Violation of venue policies or applicable laws

SPI may take any action deemed necessary in response to unacceptable behavior, including immediate removal from the event without warning or refund. SPI also reserves the right to prohibit attendance at future events.

Attendance at events hosted by Solana Policy Institute constitutes acceptance of this Code of Conduct.
