Tim McCourt

Senior Managing Director, Global Head of Equity, FX, and Alternative Products, CME

Tim McCourt serves as CME Group’s Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Financial and OTC Products. He is part of the company’s management team, leading the development and execution of global strategies for equity index, interest rates, foreign exchange, cryptocurrency, cash markets, and alternative investment products. Additionally, he is a member of the CME Ventures Investment Committee and the S&P Dow Jones Indices U.S. Advisory Panel. Before joining CME Group in 2013 as Global Head of Equity Products, Tim worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where he managed the Americas Index and Delta One trading book. Prior to RBS, he held a senior trading role at JPMorgan in New York, spending a decade with the Equity Derivatives Group. Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Boston College and an MBA from The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
