Rep. Bill Huizenga

R-MI

Congressman Bill Huizenga  represents Michigan's 4th Congressional District. This district stretches along the shores of Lake Michigan to Battle Creek to include all of Allegan and Van Buren Counties as well as portions of Berrien, Calhoun, Kalamazoo, and Ottawa Counties. Michigan's 4th Congressional District is home to beautiful beaches, a diverse array of agriculture, and a strong manufacturing base.

Congressman Huizenga is an original member of the Bipartisan Fiscal Forum (BFF), a group founded during the 118th Congress that is dedicated to sounding the alarm about our nation’s unsustainable debt trajectory and working together to get control of our fiscal future. Huizenga serves as the Republican Co-Chair, working with the group’s members to elevate the debt issue while providing Members with opportunities to improve the fiscal policy debate in Congress. The group began informally in 2020 and has since engaged in bipartisan collaboration to put forward ideas that address our growing debt and exploding interest costs. This included the introduction of the Fiscal Commission Act of 2023 to create a bipartisan, bicameral fiscal commission to propose recommendations on significantly improving our nation’s medium and long-term fiscal trajectory.
